Rebuilding Day is the culmination of a year of planning, training and mobilizing thousands of volunteers
Volunteers are mobilized to work in partnership with the community to repair homes and improve neighborhoods of local residents.
Rebuilding Day is an annual call to service on the last Saturday of the April. Each year, in preparation, Rebuilding Together North Suburban Chicago recruits and trains sponsor teams, identifies and screens homeowner applicants, raises private funds for building materials, and coordinates the logistics of a volunteer effort that encompasses hundreds of people.
